Dyspareunia and Dysuria
ABOUT THIS PRESENTATION
A 36-year-old female with typical symptoms of pelvic venous insufficiency. Primary complaints of pelvic heaviness, painful intercourse, and urinary frequency. Transvaginal ultrasound demonstrated left ovarian vein incompetence with extensive pelvic varicosities. Large varicose veins were found around the base of the bladder consistent with the patient's symptoms of urinary frequency. Treatment with foam sclerotherapy and coil embolization resulted in marked improvement in symptoms.
