17-year-old male with 2 years of worsening bilateral testicular pain. The pain progressively got worse as the day progressed and with any strenuous activity. In particular, the pain was interfering with high school sports. The patient wanted the procedure with the fastest recovery and best outcomes. Data from patients I have treated show that in over 95% of patients, the varicocele is successfully treated when evaluated by ultrasound at 30 days. In the right hands, varicocele embolization is a superior procedure to surgical varicocelectomy.
