ABOUT THIS PRESENTATION
86-year-old male with left ankle ulceration. Recurrent ulceration at the left ankle over the last 6 years. The current ulcer had been present for over 5 months. Local wound care only. No investigation into the cause of the ulcer. Patient had symptoms of rest pain. Venous ultrasound showed superficial venous incompetence. Arterial testing showed severe peripheral arterial disease.
