ABOUT

Dr. Cumming discovered Interventional Radiology (IR) early in his medical education and trained with pioneers in the field. He recognized IR could deliver on the promise of fundamentally changing patients’ lives through minimally invasive procedures, and has spent his entire career pursuing ways to help people in effective, efficient ways.

In addition to medical expertise, Dr. Cumming also pursued his MBA so he would be armed with the tools to continue making IR more accessible to patients in need. He has founded several companies aimed at delivering better care at reduced costs, in outpatient facilities that put patients at the forefront.
Dr. Cumming has contributed immensely to the medical field, and is widely recognized for his skill in endovascular procedures. His diverse background includes speaking at international meetings, mentoring medical professionals, and developing or enhancing new procedures.
He was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada, but Southwest Minneapolis has been his home for over 20 years, where he and his wife Marla have raised their three children.
