Dr. Bretzman Temporary Headshot

ABOUT

Dr. Bretzman enjoys the creativity required to solve complex medical problems using minimally invasive imaging guided techniques. He works with other specialists to achieve the most efficient solution for each individual patient. Born and raised in Minnesota, Dr. Bretzman attended Medical School at the University of Minnesota, and did his Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the University of Utah. With over 25 years of experience, he finds satisfaction using his knowledge to get patients back to their jobs and the activities they enjoy.

When not consulting with or treating patients, Dr. Bretzman enjoys time with family, photography, boating, camping, coaching youth sports, and grilling the perfect steak.

Dr. Bretzman's goal is helping patients feel and function better. He believes that with the independent patient centered approach practiced at VIE, this goal is much more readily attainable than at a large healthcare conglomerate.
