79-year-old female with worsening low back pain. No falls or injury. Pain worsened with standing, walking and sitting. The patient had severe enough pain that performing the tasks of active daily living were becoming more burdensome.

Patient told the pain was due to an ingrown toe nail and sent home on narcotics. The patient went to podiatry and was correctly diagnosed as having critical limb ischemia.​
